Declaration

I agree that I will:

•Carry my AASA Media Authorisation letter at all times whilst conducting Media Operations, and produce it on demand to event/AASA officials
•Seek out and meet the Clerk of Course prior to the commencement of the event proper
•Register my attendance with the Organisers in such manner as they may require.
•Attend each Media Briefing and each other briefing to which I may be directed. If no Media Briefing is scheduled, I will seek out and meet the Clerk of Course prior to the commencement of the event proper
•Wear a Hi-Vis tabard during all Media Operations
•Identify each of my equipment packs/bags with my name and mobile phone number
•Conduct my operations in such a way as to minimise any distraction to competitors
•Remain behind the First Line of Protection at a licenced racetrack/circuit
•Remain in an area protected by natural features or installed barriers at Closed or Off Road events; or
•Remain at least 15m from the edge of the road or designated/marked track at Off Road events when in an area with no natural or installed lines of protection. I acknowledge that this is only permitted when competition vehicle speeds are less than 100km/h
•Comply with all instructions issued by Event Officials; whether written or verbal
•Make available to Event Organisers and/or the AASA a copy of any or all recorded media upon request
•Withhold publication of any or all recorded media from the event at which I am operating upon request by Event Organisers and/or the AASA
•Comply with all relevant protocols contained in AASA Appendix 10 – Media Policy
•Comply with any additional limitations/requirements specified by the Event Organiser

Declaration for RPA Operators

I agree that I will:

•Notify the AASA in writing of the expiry or withdrawal of my Excluded RPA Notification or ReOC
•Carry my AASA Media Authorisation Card at all times whilst conducting RPA Operations, and produces it on demand to event/AASA officials
•Seek out and meet the Clerk of Course prior to the commencement of the event proper
•Attend each and any briefing to which I may be directed
•Wear a AASA issued Media Hi-Vis tabard during all RPA Operations
•Conduct my operations as a person who does not hold a valid ReOC according to the Standard Operating Conditions for RPA as defined in Advisory Circular AC101-10; or
•Conduct my operations as a holder of a Remote Operators Certificate (ReOC) according to the operating conditions specified therein.
•Only use an RPA that is less than 2.0kg in weight (unless I receive a specific exemption from AASA)
•Identify my RPA with my name and mobile phone number
•Conduct my operations in such a way as to minimise any distraction to competitors
•Be accompanied by an Observer or within 5m of an Event Official at all times whilst operating from an area with less than two lines of protection.
•Comply with all instructions issued by Event Officials; whether written or verbal
•Make available to Event Organisers and/or the AASA a copy of any or all recorded media upon demand
•Withhold publication of any or all recorded media from the event at which I am operating upon request by Event Organisers and/or the AASA
•Comply with all relevant protocols contained in AASA Appendix 10 – Media Policy
•Comply with any additional limitations/requirements specified by the Event Organiser
