Ravage Raceworks’ Lillie and Exner brap their way to Lake Mountain Victory

ATR-2-11

The Victorian High Country once again played host to one of the most gruelling events in the history of ATR.

Competitors encountered unpredictable weather and mechanical challenges, which truly tested their skill, endurance, and perseverance. We, as event organisers, also faced difficulties with situations beyond our control.

The harsh conditions took a heavy toll on vehicles, with several teams forced to retire due to mechanical failures and service crews worked tirelessly between stages to keep cars running. True to form, the Victorian High Country delivered unpredictable weather, with bright sunshine in some sections and heavy rain in others.

It was a well-earned outright victory for Dean Lillie & Chris Exner in their 1995 Mazda RX7, just a mere 0.03 seconds over the blue beast of Jason & Fiona Wright.
The podiums throughout the field featured a mix of experience and rising talent, showcasing the depth of competition in the rallying scene.

The Victorian High Country once again proved why it remains one of the most demanding yet rewarding rallying destinations in Australia, pushing drivers, co-drivers, and their machines to the absolute limit – we are already counting down until we are back in October.

Get ready for an exciting recap of the event, complete with all the category placings! Stay tuned—it’s coming your way soon!
