A dry track and a clear sky were a warm welcome to the 73 Honda’s who attended the 2024 Honda Nationals at Winton Motor Raceway this month.
The Civic was by far the most popular entrant model alongside Integra’s, Accord’s and the ever exciting S2000’s. The day also included some rare and special metal including a beautiful NSX and Jaff David who somehow managed to sneak his open wheel Quantum GP 700 into the all-Honda track day.
The frankly monster GP 700 would not be the fastest of the day, however, with the top times belonging to Andy Thomas and his EG Civic. Setting a 1:26.277 ahead of Kenny Nguyen’s Integra with a 1:28.278, there were some seriously fast machines present for the celebration of the legendary Japanese manufacturer.
