AASA Customer Portal
Introducing our new Customer Portal
The AASA has recently introduced a new online customer portal aimed at helping our customers keep track of their licences and details held with the AASA.
The portal also allows for easy retrieval of tax invoices and licence PDF's as well as new applications for any licence or service.
As this is a completely new system tailored to the unique business of the AASA, we hope you can bear with us as we work through any inevitable teething issues.
Getting started with the portal is as simple as finding the Licence, Permit or Application form you wish to apply for.
You can also create an account below, in order to speed up your application process when applying for licences.

You will need a profile picture at the ready in order to create your account. Please ensure this is a passport / licence style photo, of just your head and shoulders.
When using the system for the first time, it is as easy as clicking the NEW APPLICANT button on your licence application form (shown below). This will reveal a clean form for you to populate and submit. Once complete, you will be sent not only confirmation of your application, but also a welcome email to our system. This welcome email will include your username and password to be used for future applications or renewals.
If you have already used our new system, using the instructions above, and you need to apply for a new licence, please login using the details sent during your first application.
Logging into the portal will allow you to do the following things:
- Update your personal contact details
- Update your profile picture
- Download your Tax Invoices
- Download your licence PDFs
- Apply for licences

Going forward, all Licence applications (except day licences) will require a licence photo to be uploaded at the time of the application. This photo will be printed directly to your licence. Please ensure that your photo is of good quality and is similar in style to your password or existing drivers licence photo.
Officials & Media
Officials & Media applications are still currently using our old system. You will not be required to login to complete these applications as per normal. Simply complete the required form and submit.
Rollout of Officials & Media to our new system will be happening over the coming months.
Vehicle Passport applications are still currently using our old system. You will not be required to login to complete these applications as per normal. Simply complete the required form and submit.

If you already hold a AASA licence, we will be importing existing customer records into our new system. This means that technically our system will have created a username and password for you, which you will not have received..
Your username will be your email address that you signed up for your previous application with.
Your password can simply be reset by visiting our forgotten password page here.
