MEDIA RELEASE – Waikerie Hotel ARB Riverland 300

Friday, July 20, 2018.

An investigation is underway into circumstances surrounding an incident during the Waikerie Hotel ARB Riverland 300, Round 4 of the ARB Off Road Championships last weekend.

During the event, a collision occurred between two vehicles on Sunday, July 15.

The incident, involving four competitors, occurred at the Murbako Road venue at Waikerie, South Australia at approximately 12.45pm.

Competitors were attended to by medical personnel at the venue before three competitors were transferred to Waikerie Health Service.

Two were released while one was then transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

A joint investigation into circumstances surrounding the incident is being conducted by the Australian Off Road Racing Association (AORRA) and Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA).
